On the morning of October 14, 2022, Fujian Key Laboratory of Green Design and Manufacturing of Leather held the "Second Academic Committee Meeting of the Second Fujian Key Laboratory of Green Design and Manufacturing of Leather" online/offline in Industrial Leather Technology Co., Ltd. Academic members of the laboratory attended the meeting.

The members affirmed the progress made by the laboratory under the influence of the epidemic situation, agreed with the future planning of the laboratory, and put forward suggestions on the construction and development of the laboratory. In terms of important research topics such as seawater tanning, ecological leather and waste recycling in the laboratory, research on cleaning, functionalization and intelligence in the industrial production process, research and development and application of new products, new technologies and new processes, as well as talent introduction and training, in-depth exchanges and discussions were carried out, emphasizing that enterprises should further increase automation, digital and intelligent research; It will play a positive role in the future development of the laboratory to strengthen discipline crossing, attach importance to basic research, and strengthen cooperation and exchange with scientific research institutes.
